KAST Card Guide: Fees, Eligibility and Stablecoin Spending

KAST links a supported stablecoin balance to a Visa card for eligible residents — useful if you are already paid in stablecoins, but it is not an insured bank account.

Overview

What works well

  • Spend received stablecoins without a separate sale before each purchase. [1]
  • Current schedule lists no card fee on USD purchases. [1]
  • Standard tier has no annual fee and includes two virtual cards. [1]
  • Receives USDT, USDC, PYUSD and RLUSD on listed networks. [3]

Trade-offs

  • Not a bank; the service terms say the account is not insured against loss. [4]
  • Older legal terms list different fees from the newer help schedule. [5][1]
  • Withdrawal routes are narrower than deposit routes. [3]
  • No complete public country list; eligibility is shown only during onboarding. [2]

How money moves

  1. FundReceive supported stablecoins on a listed network
    More context

USDT, USDC, PYUSD and RLUSD each have specified networks. Non-stablecoin deposits may be auto-converted at a token-specific quote — check before sending something you want to keep. [3][1]

  2. HoldShown as a USD balance at 1:1
    More context

This is KAST’s stated treatment, not a guarantee that a stablecoin keeps its market value. The balance is not an insured deposit. [1][4]

  3. SpendPay with a virtual or physical Visa card
    More context

USD purchases list no card fee; non-USD purchases carry 0.5%–1.75% FX. Merchant, issuer and compliance rules still apply. [1]

  4. ExitWithdraw on narrower routes or take cash
    More context

On-chain withdrawals: USDC via Solana, Ethereum or Arbitrum; USDT via Solana, Ethereum or Tron. ATM cash costs $3 + 2%. [3][1]

What is KAST, in plain English?

KAST connects a funded app balance to a Visa card, giving eligible users a way to receive supported stablecoins and spend through ordinary card payments. It may shorten the route from a cross-border payment to everyday spending, but it is not an insured bank account and availability depends on your residence and card program.

[1][4][2]
How does the balance become a card payment?

You receive supported funds into KAST, then use a virtual or physical card against your available balance. The current fee page says supported stablecoin deposits appear as USD at 1:1 with no spread. That is KAST’s stated conversion treatment, not a guarantee that a stablecoin will always retain its market value.

For a freelancer already paid in stablecoins, this can avoid a separate sale before each purchase. A client’s ability to send you funds does not establish that the account is suitable for business use: the non-US card terms describe personal expenses as the primary purpose. Confirm your intended activity with the provider.

[1][5]
Who might find it useful?

An eligible traveller or freelancer already handling stablecoins may value the connection between incoming funds and card spending. Someone paid only through local banking may find funding, conversion and compliance steps unnecessarily complicated. It is a poor substitute for a protected emergency-fund account, and frequent small foreign-currency purchases or cash withdrawals deserve particular cost scrutiny.

How do funds move in and out?

The official network table lists USDT deposits on networks including Tron, Ethereum and Solana; USDC also has routes including Base and Arbitrum. PYUSD and RLUSD have their own specified networks. Withdrawal support is narrower: USDC via Solana, Ethereum or Arbitrum; USDT via Solana, Ethereum or Tron. Match the asset and network shown in the app in both directions.

Bank rails have separate charges and eligibility. The schedule lists $2 incoming ACH, $15 FedWire and $30 SWIFT; this does not mean every user receives those facilities. Non-stablecoin deposits may be automatically converted, with a token-specific quote. Check that treatment before sending an asset you intend to keep.

Standard cashback: 1.5% on the first $2,000.00 of eligible monthly purchases. Multiply the eligible purchase within the remaining cap by the rate, rounded to cents. No rewards on ATM withdrawals, ineligible purchases, fees or delivery. [1][7]

Effective cost = upfront total minus estimated cashback; cashback is not deducted at payment. Eligibility, redemption, waiting periods, exclusions and your app’s terms apply. Points and perks are unvalued.

Annual membership fee: $0.00, excluded from this transaction estimate. Compare personal memberships and annual fees.

Excludes ATM-operator charges, exchange-rate differences and funding costs. A declined payment for insufficient balance costs $0.50 (not added). Bank payout fees don’t apply to card transactions. [1]

App fees can differ

Older non-US card terms list up to 2% FX, a $0.20 small non-USD fee and up to $20 a year. This uses the newer help schedule; your app quote is what counts. [5][1]

KAST Concierge schedule updated 12 Oct 2026 · sources checked 13 Oct 2026 · calculated in your browser.

What does it cost? A USD cash example

The current Standard schedule lists $0 annual membership, two included virtual cards, with a $2 issuance charge in some regions, and a $40 delivery charge for a physical card. USD purchases have no listed card-spend fee; non-USD FX is 0.5%–1.75%, with $0.10 on non-USD purchases below $25. A decline for insufficient balance costs $0.50.

Independently calculated example: withdraw $200 in USD from an ATM under the current help schedule. KAST’s charge is $3 + (2% × $200) = $7; cash plus provider fee is $207. If ordering a Standard physical card solely for this withdrawal, add $40 delivery: $247 in total for $200 cash. This excludes ATM-operator charges, funding/network fees and any different account-specific terms; no FX or rewards are assumed.

[1][5]
What limits and rewards matter?

The help schedule lists up to $500 per ATM withdrawal and up to three withdrawals or $1,500 per 24 hours. Its absence of a fixed purchase or balance maximum is not unlimited access: available funds, compliance checks, merchant rules and issuer decisions still constrain transactions.

Standard USD cashback is listed as 1.5% on the first $2,000 of eligible monthly spending. Premium and Private list 2%/$10,000 and 3%/$40,000 respectively, with annual memberships of $1,000 and $10,000. Separate KAST Points are not cash and have no value assumed here. Cashback has eligibility conditions and a redemption timelock; check the app for the waiting period and exclusions. Do not subtract advertised rewards from guaranteed costs.

Scenario, not a forecast. Reserve rewards are discretionary — not insured deposits, interest, APY or a guaranteed return — and can be reduced to 0%. Rewards are assumed credited to your spending balance, not reinvested. [8][9]

Sources disagree on the end date: the Reserve page says introductory rates end 1 July 2027; the account terms (effective 20 August 2026, §4) say the promotion ends 31 December 2026 or when a $100m aggregate cap is reached, if sooner. We don’t project rates beyond either date. [8][9]

How we calculate
  • Standard: balance × 8%.
  • Premium: balance × 8% + min(balance, $50,000) × 2% (10% on the first $50,000).
  • Private: balance × 8% + min(balance, $200,000) × 4% (12% on the first $200,000).
  • Period figure = annual × days ÷ 365. Balances under $2 earn $0. No compounding, no fees deducted.

Net annual cashback after fee

Cash cashback only. KAST Points and perks have no value assigned; eligibility rules, exclusions and a redemption timelock apply. FX, spending fees and Reserve rewards are not included. A descriptive comparison, not a plan recommendation. [1][7]

How we calculate
  • Monthly cashback = min(spend, cap) × rate: Standard 1.5% to $2,000; Premium 2% to $10,000; Private 3% to $40,000.
  • Annual cashback = monthly × 12. Net = annual cashback − annual fee ($0 / $1,000 / $10,000).
  • Break-even points account for each plan’s cap, so they differ from a simple rate-difference calculation.

Availability

Country eligibility is not verified

KAST shows supported countries only in its onboarding selector. We could not verify eligibility for Morocco or any other country from a complete public list — not appearing on an exclusion list is not proof you are eligible. [2]

Separate checks

Which company and card program are you using?

The service terms name KAST Tech, incorporated in Anjouan, Comoros, and allow affiliates and partners to supply services. The non-US card agreement names Troia Corp and defines the issuer as Third National; the US agreement also uses Third National. These documents do not establish one universal entity or issuer arrangement for every resident.

There is a material documentation mismatch: older non-US terms list up to 2% FX, a $0.20 small non-USD purchase fee and an annual fee up to $20; the newer help schedule lists different amounts. Save the agreement and quote offered to your account, and obtain clarification before funding. We have not resolved which schedule controls each program.

[4][5][6][1]
Can you obtain and use it in your country?

KAST directs readers to the country selector during official onboarding rather than publishing a complete supported-residence list on the page reviewed. If your country is absent, the service is not launched there. We therefore cannot verify eligibility for Morocco or any other particular residence from a comprehensive public list.

Separate three checks: permission to open an account as a resident; acceptance of your issued card by a merchant; and delivery of a physical card to your address. Visa acceptance abroad proves neither residency eligibility nor shipping availability. Also check local crypto, foreign-exchange and tax rules: an offshore provider’s approval does not settle local legality.

Security & exit

Before you add real money

  • Use the official domain and read the offered agreement before paying for a card.
  • Turn on strong authentication; secure your email; never share verification codes.
  • Send a small test deposit above any minimum, then test a purchase and an outward transfer. [3]
  • Keep emergency cash and another payment method outside this service. [4]
Who holds the balance, and what can go wrong?

This app balance should not be confused with holding keys in your own wallet. The service terms say KAST is not a bank and the account is not insured against losses. Card agreements describe collateral and partner arrangements, including language that KAST itself does not custody collateral; the exact custodian and insolvency treatment for a particular account remain to be confirmed.

Possible drawbacks include account reviews, interrupted access, stablecoin depegging, incorrect-network transfers and rejected merchant payments. Card dispute procedures are not deposit insurance. Keep emergency cash and another payment method outside this service.

[4][6][5]
How would you prepare, secure and exit?

Begin with the official domain, verify residence eligibility and read the offered agreements before paying for a card. Enable available strong authentication, secure the email account, and never share verification codes. Send a modest test deposit above any minimum, then test both a purchase and an outward transfer.

Before adding a larger balance, record withdrawal fees and a usable destination. Keep transaction records for taxes and disputes. When leaving, resolve pending purchases or refunds, withdraw remaining funds on a supported route and ask how account closure affects rewards and records.

FAQ

Is a free card completely free?

No. Shipping, regional virtual-card issuance ($2 in some regions), FX, ATM and funding costs can apply. [1]

Can I send a token on any blockchain?

No. The exact asset and network combination must match a supported route, in both directions. [3]

Is it an ordinary debit card?

Do not infer that from the app. The legal agreements use credit and collateral language. [5]

Are KAST Points spendable dollars?

No cash value is established in this guide. Cashback also has a redemption timelock and exclusions — check the app. [7]

Is KAST Reserve a savings account with interest?

No. Reserve rewards are discretionary and promotional, not insured deposits, interest or APY, and can be reduced to 0%. The Reserve page and the account terms give different promotion end dates (1 July 2027 vs 31 December 2026 or a $100m cap). [8][9]

Can I use it for business payments?

The non-US card terms describe personal expenses as the primary purpose. Confirm your intended use with the provider. [5]
